We are delighted to announce that Jubilee Scout Campsite has expanded its range of equipment available for campers and visitors to hire and enjoy during their stay.
New Equipment Available to Book
To help make your camps, events and group gatherings even more enjoyable, the following items are now available to hire and can be booked directly through our booking website:
- 6 Folding Tables
- 12 Benches
- 2 Gas Pizza Ovens
Whether you’re planning a campfire feast, a group meal, or a special event at the campsite, these new additions provide extra flexibility and convenience for all our users. With the Catering Trailer and the Tented Village, you won’t need to bring any equipment.
Improving Accessibility
We are also pleased to introduce a new All-Terrain Wheelchair to the campsite. This specialist wheelchair is available for anyone who requires mobility assistance while staying on site.
Designed to cope with uneven ground and outdoor terrain, it will help more people access and enjoy everything Jubilee Scout Campsite has to offer. We hope this new addition will make visits to the campsite more inclusive and enjoyable for all.
Volunteer Service Days
Our dedicated Volunteer Service Team meets regularly throughout the year to help maintain and improve the campsite. Tasks typically include:
- Grass cutting
- Painting
- General maintenance and repairs
- Other improvement projects around the site
Everyone is welcome to attend our service days. Children are welcome too, but must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Helping out on service days can also contribute towards badge work and awards for youth members, making it a great opportunity to learn new skills while giving something back to the campsite.
